Job Description

  • Job Responsibilities Help us possibly migrate from ESSBase to another analysis tool. At present ESSBase works with a Oracle ‘cube’ back end and uses extensions in Excel for front end. It houses historical data not available otherwise, given allocations from previous years / months.. It receives imports from current financial system, HR system, and manual inputs from the finance team.

    As the Senior Financial/Essbase Analyst you will:

    • Evaluate current ESSBase usage and suggest an interim tool (Excel only, hosted BI tool, Excel with a database back end, etc).
    • Review exported historical data from ESSBase and port to interim tool
    • Review current data feeds and create way to map and import to data structure within tool
    • Create mechanics to generate report & forecast views including methods to import and manipulate forecast figures from management

  • Required
    • Minimum of eight (8) years of total experience in Information Technology
    • Extensive experience using Essbase
