Job Summary:

Global Partner Solutions is currently hiring for a Technical Recruiter to join our Montreal team. As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for:

  • Source, screen, interview, evaluate and qualify candidates.
  • Review applicants and contact pre-qualified candidates via phone or email, verifying if the job requirements are met;
  • Update and track candidates on company’ tools, such as, ATS and website, targeting the database increase;
  • Review and understand technical job requirements, proposing and setting up job descriptions, as required;
  • Qualify and manage Recruiting sources such as corporate website, job boards, social media, and other possible channels, to gather the best candidates available for each position;
  • Demonstrate pro activity while performing full-cycle Recruiting, being innovative in terms of strategies of sourcing candidates, also assuring the deadlines are respected.
  • Follow up with Account Managers and provide recommendations on pre-selected candidates;
  • Perform phone screens, as well formal interviews, and instruct applicants on the nature of the job;
  • Format resumes in accordance with client expectations, and create a portfolio of candidates for the hiring manager;
  • Facilitate meetings between hiring manager and candidate;
  • Perform reference checks and background checks on applicants, identifying potential red flags;
  • Follow up with candidates on company’s and client’s decision;
  • Research and participate on the implementation of new recruiting strategies / technologies, such as screening tools, associations, etc.
  • Possible direct contact and negotiation with clients as required/requested

These tasks might be added to your role depending on the need:

  • Act as the resource person for employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in HR decisions.
  • Participate in onboarding new employees and help with their integration.
  • Draft various letters when necessary.
  • Help with all company communication.
  • Perform various administrative tasks.

Ideal qualifications are:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English is a requirement (The recruiting will predominantly be done in English)
  • 2-5 years of experience in a fast-paced recruiting setting (ideally Agency context)
  • Experience in the Aerospace/Engineering/Logistics/Supply Chain is an asset
  • Experience working in a deadline driven work environment
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Experience with an Bullhorn is an asset
  • Results driven and relentless personality
