Reporting to the Sales Manager, the second in command is responsible for supporting the Sales Manager in directing and controlling all aspects of store operations including sales, customer service, recruitment, training, inventory management, accuracy of daily transactions, in-store merchandising, and staff development and motivation.

ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS: *

  • Generating and promoting sales of wireless devices, accessories and services in order to meet store quotas *
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining customer service levels and product knowledge consistent with Glentel Business standards among staff *
  • Recruiting, orienting, training, developing, motivating and managing employees *
  • Second in command with scheduling and providing general support to staff on marketing, merchandising and promotional activities to maximize store sales and in-store presence *
  • Second in command in all manner of retail operations at the store level, including ensuring accuracy in all transactions, inventory, procedures and store maintenance

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Skills: *

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment *

  • Commitment to driving sales and building/solidifying a customer base, while maintaining performance levels in accordance with Glentel Business Standards *

Experience: *

  • 1 – 2 years of sales experience

Education: *

  • High School diploma or Post Secondary education
