Gibson Energy is currently seeking an Integration Architect to join our IT department, located in our Calgary office. The Integration Architect will develop the corporate integration strategy, roadmap, patterns and best practices to achieve integration between business systems in a repeatable and reusable manner. As the successful candidate, you will have ownership of the integration roadmap and associated strategies that drive towards simplification and standardization of interfaces between corporate applications landscape by defining and designing the integration layer via standard service interfaces and canonical data formats. These strategies need to align with the corporate integration reference architecture and standards that include but are not limited to: Enterprise Service Bus, Extract-Transform-Load (ETL), managed file transfer, and pre-built adapter connectivity.

Provides overall direction, guidance and definition of integration architecture to effectively support business integrations
· Defines the Integration Roadmap for the corporation
· Defines requirements, principles and models that guide technology decisions and solution patterns for the Integration Architecture in accordance with established principles guidelines and patterns
· Mentors and guides project integration developers to ensure alignment with integration strategies
· Ensures business partners are aware of and aligned to enterprise architecture standards and principles to maximize benefits from standardized processes and technology
· Participates in the Architecture Review Board to ensure integration concerns, processes and guidelines are represented when implementing solutions
· Lead integration reviews as required
· May perform other duties as assigned
Self motivated team player
· Demonstrated familiarity with multiple business units and processes
· Demonstrated expert knowledge of at least one major framework, preferably certification in TOGAF
· Demonstrated detailed experience and expertise through multiple projects in performing as a business analyst or leading a business team
· Advanced written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with the ability to develop, nurture and maintain strong relationships with clients
· Demonstrated expert level presentation skills
· The ability to work and succeed in an ambiguous, unstructured environment
Completion of a post–secondary degree in Business Administration or Computer Science; or Technical Diploma; or work equivalent
· Minimum 10 years varied business experience with minimum 5 years experience in a application architect type role
· Successful completion of Enterprise Architecture and Project Management courses.
· Other relevant certifications
