The Business Services Analyst is responsible for field office activity including billing and settling of tickets, maintenance of files and processing of payables. This role ensures the delivery of accurate and timely data processing and supports a superior level of customer service to the Operations.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Entering and/or verifying volume and hourly truck tickets, plus billing and settling.
  • Dispatch and field office support – responding to questions or concerns regarding truck tickets.
  • Investigating and handling truck ticket exceptions and carrier deductions.
  • Distribution of carrier pay statements.
  • Administering and maintaining the truck ticket filling system, including scanning and filing tickets.
  • Processing invoice corrections and adjustments.
  • Rate entry and maintenance.
  • Fleet administration including registrations, licensing, permits and charge processing such as fuel cards.
  • TMT/TMW administration, entry and verification of invoice details and management of mandatory inspection dates.
  • Working with Fleet and Shop management to ensure data accuracy within databases.
  • Coding accounts payable invoices for Head Office processing.
  • Process incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • General administrative duties including filing and answering telephones.
  • Completion of monthly reports and reconciliations.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

  • Proficient in Windows and MS Office.
  • TMW/TMT knowledge would be an asset.

  • Demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience a related role.
  • Administrative and/or accounting course work and/or experience.
  • Sound understanding of general office routines.
  • Proficient in Windows and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry and Trucking market would be an asset.
