Our rapidly expanding financial services firm seeks a sharp, organized and responsible individual for a full-time office administration and customer service position. We need a candidate who possesses a strong work ethic and has a desire to learn and be involved in the growth of our company in an aggressive and specialized niche.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a great telephone personality, good research and writing skills, and possesses strong time management and prioritization skills.
S/he also has extensive knowledge of basic accounting principles and software and a strong bookkeeping skill set.

Main duties will include:

  • Courteously answer and qualify high-volume phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
  • Work with the customer service department to keep track of client statuses and data to ensure their satisfaction
  • Create various sales, accounting and other reports or documents, with attention to the time-sensitive nature of deadlines.
  • Conduct research on topics specific to our industry, and present results in a professional manner.
  • Plan and arrange special company events, travel itineraries and accommodations as needed. Book appointments with clients across North America
  • Order gifts for business associates and other office-related materials as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an office administrative and/or customer service position.
  • Proven customer service skills, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience. Must be able to calmly handle calls or other communication from difficult and irate clients.
  • Experience using MS Office products such as Excel and professional CRM software,
  • Post-secondary education in business administration or a similar field. Knowledge of international financial market terminology and tools is an asset.
  • Must be highly proficient in the English language. Excellent oral and written communication skills, a great telephone personality.
