The Professional Services Division at SLI Global Solutions “A GLI Professional Services Company” creates test cases and quality measures to test software designs that impact the products and services in the Gaming & Lottery, Government, and Commercial industries. The Software Quality Assurance Test Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the Software Quality Assurance and Testing services, and the implementation across multiple project and lines of business.
This will include (but not necessarily be limited to) management of five (5) key software quality assurance testing services:
System Integration Testing
User Acceptance Testing
Interactive Gaming Testing
Load and Performance Testing
Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Establish and deploy appropriate processes and practices to ensure testing objectives are met or exceeded
Establish and administer appropriate training and mentoring practices to ensure teams gain or maintain required skill sets
Ensure future testing activity and resourcing requirements are effectively planned
Responsible for project estimation, demand, and capacity planning activities
Ensure the status of each project is clearly monitored and reported to senior management
Ensure appropriate corrective action is enacted to address risks and issues escalated from individual projects
Manage the delivery of improvement activities identified from lessons, reviews, and management reviews
Act as a mentor for the Test Leads, providing coaching on the test lifecycle, processes and deliverables
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements:
Diploma in Information Technology or Business, or equivalent IT experience required
Industry recognized testing certification
Minimum 10+ years working in Software Testing, Quality Assurance
Minimum 10+ years working in Business/IT Sector
Minimum 7+ years managing sizeable, multiple project engagements
Strong verbal and written English communication skills required
Experience with the following preferred, but not required:
Knowledge and experience with HP test solutions and products
Knowledge and experience with test automation tools and associated processes, frameworks
Knowledge and experience with both iterative and Agile development and delivery models
Working knowledge of cost models and project budgets
Must be able to pass through a background investigation
Valid driver’s license required
Travel: Must have the ability to travel up to 75%.
