Our client is a leader in industrial supply with an extensive offering of electrical, data communications, general maintenance, repair, and operating and electrical products. Situated in Pointe Claire, they are presently looking to hire an Accounting Clerk for a 6 month contract. If you enjoy working with a dynamic and friendly team, this position is for you.

Responsibility’s

  • Performs light clerical duties within an accounting function.
  • May type, match payments check items on purchase orders, Is familiar with computers (and basic principles of A/P or A/R).
  • Performs basic accounting functions requiring knowledge of accounts payable and receivable
  • Answers customer inquiries.
  • Researches problems.
  • Creates and edits spreadsheets.

Qualifications

  • Must demonstrate ability to speak and write in both French and English (very comfortable in both languages)
  • Required to have some skills in accounting
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Suite – specifically Excel
  • Must be comfortable and capable of performing repetitive tasks/duties
