Fullhouse Modern is a independent vintage + modern retail furnishing & decor company.

We are in search of a talented, computer / internet savvy, quick thinking Back Office Admin Guru & Junior Buyer. This role could be a satisfying, learning and growth opportunity for the right person.

The candidate is a natural multi-tasker and enjoys working in a fast-paced, ever evolving retail environment. This admin role is broad in scope, often with minimal supervision and requires daily liaising with business owner, sales staff, warehouse & restoration and with wholesale vendors worldwide.

Responsibilities and Duties


This mature individual will be a key support role of the business, with such tasks as;

- back office general administration

- payroll e-filing through payroll company

- accounts payable cheque filing via Quickbooks

- coordinate product inventory buying, issue purchase orders, tracking / freight logistics

- customer & vendor damage/ repair claims,

- keeping current & organize vendor fabric/ samples swatches/ catalogues, price lists.

- office organization, invoice filing

- organize quotes, docs & schedule incoming/ outgoing freight, update written procedures

Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum 3 years working in office administration

- Post-Secondary Education is a must. University / College w/ major Business Admin, high GPA

- Advanced English literacy — verbal, comprehension, written, grammar & spelling.

- Advanced computer / Internet and back-end inventory software skills

- MS Office Software; Outlook – Intermediate, Word , Excel – Intermediate

- Basic business math skills i.e. % chg., currency conversion calculations

- Keyboarding 55+ wpm, with high level of accuracy

- Proof reading / editing skills

- Highly detail oriented person, excels at organizing and tracking / follow up


Compensation: commensurate with relevant work experience, education and skills.

Starting wage: $21 – $24 per hour

Position Type: permanent part-time

Looking for at least two year commitment, as month training period is necessary.

Expectation is to work in-office 10-6pm, 15 – 21 hrs /wk, Monday, Wed, Thurs or Fri.

No evening or weekend work.
