We are looking for a competent Office Clerk to perform various administrative and clerical tasks to support our office. You will undertake a variety of activities in the office ranging from filing and answering the phone to basic accounts receivable duties and invoicing.


  • Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
  • Friendly and knowledgeable when answering the phone to take orders or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues
  • Communications (e.g. mail, email, phone) – process, respond and re-direct all correspondence as needed
  • Undertake basic invoicing tasks and account receivables duties
  • Assist in making accounts receivables collection calls and in setting up payment terms for clients
  • Assist in maintaining new and existing customer accounts with inspections and equipment
  • Monitor stocks of office supplies (paper clips, stationery etc.) and report when there are shortages
  • Utilize office appliances such as photocopier, printers etc. and computers
  • Perform other office duties as assigned


Education: Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in business/office administration or equivalent experience.

Work Experience : 3-5 years of business administration experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to perform administrative duties with speed and accuracy, as well as the ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Familiarity with computers, Microsoft Office, office procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Knowledge of modern office methods and procedures, telephone techniques, office equipment and filing
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Reliable and professional with proven track record of good attendance
