Reporting to the Quality Control Lead your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Maintain E&I Quality Control Records

Raise and process non-conformance reports and CPAR’s as required

Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformance relating to the product, process and Quality system

Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and Quality system

Recommend improvements to the Quality Management System and implement these improvements in conjunction with the Quality Coordinator

Develop Inspection and Test Plans as required from the scope of work

Review work packs for compliance ensuring code, standards, Client specifications and regulatory requirements are maintained.

Liaise with Client as required, attain approvals as required

Support Document Control functions as required

Perform turnover review of completed work progressively and as required

Prepare work packs as required and populate with FTS documents

Assist with Quality system audits or compliance audits as required

Foster and promote an attitude of continuous improvement

Support field inspections as required

Track and document progress as required

Witness field testing on cables, EHT, equipment, etc.

Witness function tests.

Conduct Electrical and Instrumentation equipment receiving inspections as per design documents.

Maintaining logs

Work with site team and ensure implementation of inspection and test plan that is relevant to work

To conduct inspection of all ongoing activities for electrical and instrumentation installations.

To attend all electrical inspection with client/contractor representatives.

To submit inspection requests in coordination with concerned site/technologist.

Ensure that all equipment used is calibrated and with valid certificates.


A minimum of 2 years Quality related experience

A minimum of 4 years of Oilfield and construction related experience

Experience with WHIMIS, confined space entry, harness training, M40, H2S an asset
