POSITION SUMMARY

The District Trainer educates store Managers/BA’s on product in depth knowledge, skin care expertise, make-up expertise, selling skills, consultation skills and event/animation skills to meet productivity goals, service standards and to lower turnover. Responsibilities include small seminars, as well as in-store coaching for new and seasoned Store Managers/BA’s.

MAIN RESPONSIABILITIES

REINFORCING KPI SALES AND TRAINING STANDARDS :

  • Conducts training workshops to prepare Store Managers/BA’s on new initiatives/products and
  • Supports BA’s goals in store with on-the-job point of sale training to raise productivity and make sales
  • Plan and schedule trainings on a call-cycle (A, B, C, D door).
  • Assist-in preparing and maintain training course
  • Inform about the training events in advance to store
  • Assist-in developing training programs for skill enhancement, performance improvement, career development,
  • Assist-in evaluating training programs and recommend
  • Assist-in ensuring that training material and information are updated and available at all
  • Assist-in developing and implementing orientation programs for new
  • Assist-in developing creative and innovative approaches to present training
  • Assist, develop and lead strategies to orientate, develop and retain new Store Managers/BA’s.
  • Works closely with District Leader, Sales and Marketing Team in order to streamline efficiencies and maintain clear consistent messages,
  • Teaches and reinforces company’s image and hygiene
  • Acts as a role model/ brand ambassador to store teams by providing the company’s vision and

SPECIFIC PARTICULARITIES OF POSITION

  • This position requires high mobility due to continuous travelling for visiting the stores across Edmonton (3 days a week).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • College Degree in Administration or Marketing;
  • 2 years experience in training in a similar position and/or in the retail business;
  • Knowledge of fine fragrances and/or body care products and cosmetic would be an asset;
  • Knowledge in creating and implementing training program;
  • Exceptional communication skills and should be able to train and teach in a clear, concise manner
