Summary of responsabilities :
Reporting to the Front Office Director, the Front Office Supervisor responsible for the following:
Supervision of switchboard, guest services and front office
Take part of recruitment, training, supervision, co-ordination and direction of team members for prompt, courteous and efficient service
Ensuring effective management of Guest Service Agents through planning, scheduling, training and development
Check all information in Opera
Appearance and cleanliness of the reception area
Ensures that all financial reporting is maintained and accurate, including payroll and billing
Analyse and make recommendations regarding ways to increase guest satisfaction
Promotes team work between departments
Coordinate all arrivals, departures of convention and groups
Handle and resolve guest complaints in a timely manner
Ensuring a safe working environment for all staff members
Daily preparation of upcoming group business needs: e.g. room blocking and special requests
All other duties as assigned.
Hotel Management, university or equivalent is considered an asset
Possess a good knowledge about hotel politics
Must know well Opera, Word, Excel, Outlook
Possess good quality of management
Strong organizational and planning skills
Must be able to work under pressure
Must be fluently bilingual, with excellent verbal communication skill.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
