Location: Head Office – Montreal

Be a part of a top-notch design team in Canada, creating products for a brand revolutionizing the fashion industry. Frank + Oak is seeking a versatile designer with womenswear and menswear experience to join its renowned team of designers and dynamic, fast paced work environment. The designer is responsible for communicating their vision and creativity through Frank & Oak’s clothing and lifestyle aesthetic.

Where you’ll make a difference:
Work in close collaboration with design managers and design team to create a full range of products

Build concepts, monthly themes and line plans with the design team

Create new styles through a strong understanding of our customer, market and trends

Identify/select fabrics and colors according to seasons

Work closely with production & product development team to communicate the vision behind the products

Execute product from initial sketch, technical package to final garment approval

Qualifications:
University degree (or college diploma) in fashion design

5 years of relevant experience, ideally in womenswear, menswear and denim

Knowledge and awareness of competitive global womenswear and menswear brands

Ability to forecast trends and fabrications

Strong organizational and team player skills

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Excellent Photoshop/Illustrator/Excel knowledge

Experience in fabric and textile design (an asset)
