Recruitment Advertising Specialist (Part Time)

Flight Centre Travel Group is looking for an experienced recruitment advertising specialist to join our successful team for a permanent part time position. This part time role can be based in either Toronto or Vancouver. We are looking for a self-motivated, driven, personable individual who thrives on a fast-paced and ever changing environment. In this role you would be responsible for implementing the internal and external marketing strategy for recruitment to ensure quality applicants and successful hires.

As a Recruitment Advertising Specialist you will be accountable for:

  • Creating and implementing external advertising campaigns across all brands to drive staff growth
  • Developing our employer brand to increase direct applications using social media
  • Updating and maintaining our careers website, creating engaging content and forming online partnerships to increase traffic to the site
  • Produce reports to ensure an effective cost per hire and monitor application numbers and conversion to hire
  • Negotiating with external advertising channels to reduce cost per hire
  • Managing relationships with suppliers
  • Writing and posting advertisements for job boards to attract a high calibre of candidate
  • Working collaboratively with the recruitment team to ensure marketing activity is aligned with company objectives
  • Managing the internal job board to ensure quality and fresh content

The ideal candidate will have the following desired experience and key competencies:

  • Experience in recruitment marketing and employer branding
  • Copywriting, journalism or marketing experience
  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to quickly learn new online systems
  • Creativity and the ability to develop engaging content across online and offline channels
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to build relationships with business leaders, recruitment and marketing agencies to develop a candidate pool.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Driven to achieve goals and targets
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to juggle several priorities competently and meet deadlines
  • Preferred travel industry experience
  • Preferred experience and understanding of Adobe Creative Suite
