Hello cool, dynamic, fun, interesting, smart, detailed, organized people!

Help us put the “fun” in “functional”. We are a super cool kids clothing and accessories company that is looking for a fabulous, dynamic office coordinator for its Mississauga/Oakville office. Our products can be found in retailers all over the world including Indigo Books & Music, Disney resorts and Ritz Carlton hotels- just as examples. We are in boutiques, resorts, zoos, parks and department stores worldwide!

This office coordinator position is intended to be a 6 month-1 year maternity leave coverage, with potential for a more permanent position.

In the position of FlapJackKids Office Coordinator, you will be responsible for various office and sales tasks which could include preparing and submitting invoices, dealing with customers and customer service issues, working at trade shows, promoting the products on the phone and in person, liaising with warehouses, liaising with graphic designers for catalogs and other promotional materials, assembling orders, managing accounts receivables, assisting with public relations and advertising opportunities and more. You will work closely with our Director of Creative Happiness and President of Fun (not kidding: )).

Experience with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) is required. You must have excellent telephone skills (e.g. you can’t be afraid of the phone!) and be very detail oriented and organized. You must be proficient in writing, reading and speaking English, You must love kids products, and even better if you love kids.

A University degree is also required, ideally in business, communications, or a related field so you get where we are coming from. If you have work experience in a related field, even better. If you are creative and have good ideas, that is a bonus! We like people who think outside the box.

We are open to making this a part time position for the right candidate. So for all those fabulous stay at home moms looking to get back into the work force, but need flexible hours, this might be the perfect role for you!

This job will be paid hourly – $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience and fit (25-35 hours per week). Flexible hours are on the table.
