This is aTEMPORARY full time position ( 5 Months ) for a Front Office Assistant.

Start date : October 23rd, 2017

End date: March 23rd, 2018

** The shop is closed December 23rd, 2017 – January 1st, 2018 for the Christmas holidays. You will be given that time off and are to return to work on January 2nd, 2018**

Hours: 8:00AM – 5:30PM (Monday to Friday)

Location: Downtown Toronto – Queen St. East

Fix Auto Toronto Centre is an Auto Collision Repair Facility

As the Front Office Assistant, you will need to have the following:

  • Customer service experience is a must!
  • The ability to multitask is also a must as the shop can get very busy and you will need to be able to prioritize your given tasks appropriately
  • Skill in using computers – Most work will be done using the computer – It is preferable if the qualified candidate can type at least 50wpm
  • Ability to do miscellaneous clerical duties such as filing, printing, faxing, emailing, sorting, answering phone calls and taking messages, and minor cleaning of the front office and kitchenette
  • Great organization skills and capability of keeping a tidy work space is a great quality to also have
  • You need to be a quick learner as you will need to learn 6 different programs in a short period of time

The job position will require the following:

  • Opening the front office every morning
  • Greet customers, answer general inquires and provide updates on the status of vehicle repairs
  • Schedule customers in for estimates and vehicle repairs
  • Create individual files for each customer containing all personal details in regards to their auto claims
  • Create warranty packages and explain our warranty in detail to customers upon repair completion
  • Daily communication with insurance adjusters to discuss claim coverage
  • Create car rental reservations for customer who require a temporary vehicle while their vehicle is being repaired
  • Ensure all documentation remains in each customers file and make sure all information is kept confidential
  • Minor office cleaning (dusting, watering plants, cleaning the coffee station, etc…)
