First Baptist Church, Ottawa, is currently seeking a bass section lead for its church choir. The ideal candidate will have strong sight-reading skills and experience singing choral repertoire, as well as a positive attitude and a willingness to work with and support other professional and amateur musicians in the choir.

Weekly attendance is required at Thursday evening rehearsals from 7:15–8:45 p.m. and Sunday morning rehearsals at 9:45 a.m. (with worship beginning at 10:30 a.m.). Section leads sing with the choir from September to May, with opportunities for solos during worship services, and during the summer months (June–August). Remuneration is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
