Spa Experience Coordinator

As a Spa Experience Coordinator, the organizational support you provide for your Colleagues ensures comfort and efficiency, while your thoughtful service makes our guests feel valued.

Hotel Overview:
At the ocean’s edge- a modern oasis, the Fairmont Pacific Rim is the most remarkable address in the city. The Willow Stream Spa is a 11,000 square foot spa, including 9 treatment rooms and a 2,500 square foot outdoor patio with water features. Beauty and wellness become one-with all of the pure elements that make this city so spectacular – through luxurious treatments that will delight your senses, soothe your body and pamper your soul.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Spa Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service

Answer telephone inquiries promptly and professionally

Greet and escort Guests & members in a friendly and efficient manner

Knowledgeable about all aspects of treatments and the facility

Provide information and literature about facility in person and via telephone

Payment processing – Operate point of sale system for all services rendered

Clerical duties, treatment bookings/scheduling

Give tours of spa co-ordinate sales packets and handle special assignments

Ensure the facility is in peak condition at all times (operations and cleanliness)

Ensure Guest/Member satisfaction at all times by ensuring that safety and service is always the spa’s first priority

Previous experience is an asset

Minimum of 2 years experience in spa industry or hospitality

Diploma or Degree in hospitality or related field an asset

Organized, confident and professional in their appearance

Computer literacy in Office, Word, Excel

Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

Constant standing and walking throughout shift

Frequent standing and walking throughout shift

Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs

Frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling

Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Visa Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
