Human Resources & Corporate Service is charged with ensuring that Express Scripts Canada effectively manages and supports its human capital investment while promoting organizational development and talent management.
Express Scripts Canada is currently seeking to hire a creative and passionate Recruiter to join our Human Resources and Corporate Services Department for a 12 Month Contract. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be committed to attracting top talent through their demonstrated ability using a variety of channels, social media, and leveraging networks to source candidates.
Working closely with the HR team, you will be accountable for the implementation and execution of efficient and standardized full cycle recruitment strategies, developing a candidate pipeline, and will act as a talent scout by being actively engaged in the Labour market, targeting individuals for consideration that align with our brand values and corporate culture.
Develops and identifies a customized sourcing strategy, by position, to create a strong pool of qualified candidates. This may include: website postings, various job boards/networking sites, advertising, database mining, headhunting, networking, career fairs, social media and any other creative sources that you have used
Create and foster relationships with colleges and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit diverse candidates.
Provides full life cycle recruitment from requisition to offer including: approval process, sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinates and facilitates candidate interview scheduling and logistics, assessing and presenting a diversified and world class quality pool of candidates to the business leaders in a timely manner
Use appropriate assessment techniques to make decisions about a candidate’s fit with the role and the company.
Proactively provides ongoing and consistent updates to business partners and hiring managers through a superior level of communication
5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience with a focus on head hunting, understanding business requirements and delivering results, preferably in a fast paced retail environment
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Commerce / Business Administration or equivalent work experience would be considered an asset
Has an advanced level of knowledge of applicable federal and provincial laws and regulations related to employment (for example, Human Rights Codes, Employment Equity, AODA]
Has worked with a diverse portfolio of positions at all levels
Strong demonstrated experience using an Applicant Tracking System (Taleo is preferred)
Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels within the organization.
The ability to be customer service focused and demonstrate the ability to flex based on organization’s critical needs.
Pro-active and able to show initiative/ideas to constantly improve the recruitment service offering to meet the changing needs of the business
Demonstrates a professional presence and behaviors that inspire trust, collaboration and integrity, while influencing and motivating others company-wide
