Being able to take an organization to the next level is always an exciting time for a strong business leader. And our client, the Professional Association of Residents and Interns of Manitoba (PARIM), is excited to welcome such a leader to their team.

In the newly created position of Executive Director, PARIM is looking for a leader who is enthusiastic, creative and who will move the organization forward with new and interesting ideas.

The Role:

Oversee all operational requirements of the organization and work closely with the Board to develop and accomplish goals and growth plans.

Manage and coordinate financial and budget activities with a focus on maximizing resources, and increasing efficiencies.

Liaise with stakeholders (Board of Director, Executive, Government agencies, University of Manitoba, legal counsel, and other relevant professional organizations)

Provide support in the areas of research and development of PARIM policy and procedures

Maintain member services and collective agreements and be the Chief Spokesperson for contract negotiations and grievances

Collaborate with the Board and team to develop and execute on plans for the continued improvement of operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and staff.

You and Your Experience

You have completed post-secondary education in business, health and/or public administration

You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role focused on operations and business growth

You have experience working in non-profit, healthcare or life sciences

You are a strategic planner who understands current trends and conditions

You have demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to create a high-performance culture that inspires and motivates for the achievement of operational excellence

You are a clear and concise communicator who can build and sustain relationships both internally and externally

You believe strongly in collaboration and can effectively work with stakeholders, employees and colleagues

You are a strong mentor and leader

You consider yourself a highly creative thinker; you have troubleshooting abilities and enjoy providing solutions to business and operational challenges

The Professional Association of Residents and Interns of Manitoba (PARIM) is an exciting and dynamic organization representing over 600 post-graduate trainees in various fields of medicine. As a volunteer, non-profit organization representing physicians in training, PARIM strives to achieve excellence in medical education.
