POSITION: Manufacturing – Assembler

Production Assemblers work as a part of a team (or individually) to complete a wide variety of projects relating to the manufacture of battery packs. This includes; wire prep, pre-forming components, hand soldering, resistance welding, encapsulating, inspection/QC, bench testing, labeling & packaging.

Guidance is provided by the following principles;

  • Build the right product (meets all safety, electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic requirements)
  • Build it the right way (follows the current procedure, safely operates machines/equipment, maintains records)
  • Build it on time (starts on time, finishes on time)
  • Build it on budget (eliminates waste that is not a process byproduct)

This enables us to deliver exactly what the customer requires, when they want it, for the price they expect, in a manner which generates profit.

  • Being late or absent places undue burden on coworkers and creates schedule imbalance. We understand that not everything in life is predictable, however all staff are expected to aim for 100% on-time attendance for all scheduled work.
  • Every person who arrives at work in the morning should expect to return home at the end of the day free from injuries caused in the workplace. Working safe costs less money, creates a better environment, and shows respect for the individuals who perform the work. Reckless and dangerous behavior cannot be tolerated.
