and Responsibilities We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our Pueblo, Colorado team. The Environmental Engineer reports to the Manager – Environmental Services. This position requires a person with strong project management skills, strong site remediation skills, positive attitude, good written and oral interpersonal communication skills, administrative and organizational ability, and knowledge of environmental regulations. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: . Responsible for leading a large multi-site remediation project along with facility waste management and reduction programs.

Job Requirements This position requires a post-secondary physical sciences degree, preferably in engineering, with at least 10 years related environmental experience. Environmental specialization and experience acquired preferably in heavy industry (steel), government (regulatory) or environmental / engineering consulting is required.

The Environmental Manager will provide seasoned technical knowledge of related science/engineering principles and federal / provincial / state and municipal laws and environmental legislation applicable to Evraz sites. As required by the project, the position leads / participates in the Company’s negotiations with environmental Regulators in order to ensure environmental compliance. This requires sound judgment of environmental issues and associated financial implications, and good interpersonal and communication skills.

Supervisory capability and the ability to work cooperatively, implement broadly defined environmental policies, manage complicated projects and administer a budget are desired characteristics. Possession and application of creative problem-solving skills, coupled with strong planning, organizing and analytical abilities is desired.
