Everblast Play Company – Human Resource Intern

Everblast is a young, growing organization that specializes in teambuilding workshops & events for children, teenagers and professionals within the youth sector. An Everblast Human Resource Intern will assist in various HR initiatives to help recruit, build, retain and train a team of Superstars!

Key Duties:

A Human Resource internship at Everblast entails but is not limited to:

-Conduct full-cycle recruitment for all Game Leader and Intern positions (post vacancies, receive applications, pre-employment screening, schedule and participate in interviews)

-Provide required administrative support for Staffing Manager

-Maintain several databases utilizing MS Excel, WebDB, Asana and Google applications

-Review/revise job descriptions, onboarding and training documentation

-Research and report on the labour market, HR innovations and Employment Legislation

-Oversee various human resource policies and procedures -Collaborate with Staffing Manager/Office team to develop HR efforts: staff morale plan, professional development, recruitment process and performance management plan

-Answer and direct all HR related general inquiries from candidates and external partners

Qualifications and Requirements:

-Undergraduate or Post-Graduate Human Resources student

-Strong English speaking and writing skills -Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize various tasks and projects -Outgoing personality, a sense of humour and high levels of Team Spirit

-Creative with ability to brainstorm and innovate -Proficiency with PC applications including Microsoft Office and Google Drive -Past work experience within youth sector is an asset

Other Important Notes:

-Work week (Monday to Friday). Working hours are flexible

-Internship is unpaid
