Initial underwriting preparation of new case files.

Shops for re-insurance (with ReInsurers) as requested by Underwriter and follow up for decisions.

Request information from other carriers (for shared medical evidence) and Medical Information Bureau (MIB) and follow up for this information.

Order Attending Physician Statements and additional requirements (as directed by Underwriter)

Review MIB hits (ie: client has been reported by another carrier to MIB), to ensure we were/are aware of this medical information on the client

Respond to email and phone inquiries (ie: status updates for Advisors, data request clarifications)

Review and pay invoices from 3 rd party paramedical and medical providers and other carriers (if billed for shared evidence)

Central contact for 3 rd party paramedical and medical providers

Provide daily updates to Manager, relating to volumes processed, process times, and other required metrics.

Produce and send out letters of explanation regarding decisions to client’s doctors (as requested by underwriter)

Proactively manage blocks of business of Elite Advisors, Large Cases

Proactively communicate by telephone, and email with MGA’s, AGA’s, National Accounts, Firms and Advisors to streamline processes, and provide an exceptional customer service experience

Process Delivery Requirements and settle policies to ensure a positive advisor and client experience

Qualifications:
Sound knowledge of Windows/Word and Excel as well as Internet and keyboarding skills

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Strong communication skills; both verbal and written

Ability to work effectively in Team Environment

Individual Life Administration knowledge and experience
