Description

This position reports to the Team Lead, WCBU F&PA, located within the ConocoPhillips Canada Finance organization. This 8 month co-op will provide the opportunity to gain significant exposure to a variety of areas of financial analysis within the Western Canadian Business Unit. The successful candidate will perform functions related to financial and operational reporting. This role will be based in the Calgary office for a term from January to August 2015.

Responsibilities

Coordination and preparation of monthly reporting package.

Coordination of monthly budget to actual variance analysis.

Coordination and preparation of quarterly variance analysis.

Coordination of forecast and long range planning inputs.

Rationalize month end accounting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
