The successful candidate must possess the following education, experience and skills:

• a BA or B.Ed. degree in English Language

• a minimum of 3 years experience teaching Adults whose first language is not English

• excellent communication and oral presentation skills

• excellent personal organizational and time management skills

• fluency in English as a FIRST LANGUAGE

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

• works independently as well as with colleagues

• instructs small groups of 2 to 5 students, or tutors private sessions on a one-on-one basis

• administers Listening-Speaking-Reading-Writing descriptors on a classroom or individual/one-on-one basis

• is familiar and has experience with targeted instruction of TOEFL and IELTS

• has flexible hours of availability to suit possible afternoon, evening, or weekend tutorials

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $18.00 /hour
