We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Edmonton team.

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Complex design and calculations
• Review and approve drawings and provide fabrication/technical support.
• Project management.
• Helping to create a collaborative team environment, while providing excellent service to all clients, (internal and external).
• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of construction & building codes, standards, and specifications, including the permitting processes/requirements, along with the ability to plan and analyze budgets, schedules and resources for engineering and construction efforts for selected projects.
• Offer and provide mentoring and coaching to Intermediate and Junior staff.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and to meet deadlines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of related engineering experience
• P.Eng is required.
• Exceptional creativity and design intuition
• Industry related experience considered a strong asset
• Technical knowledge of structural materials, construction, modular building, manufacturing, and site installation
• Strong problem solving, conflict resolution, decision-making, organization, planning and leadership skills
• In-depth knowledge of design principles and codes
• Strong technical writing skills
• Experience working with Solidworks preferred.
