  • Maintain and enhance Enbridge SCADA Historian (PI) and SCADA systems in support of Control Center Operations and related business areas
  • Provide technical mentorship and leadership to the members of the team
  • Work with staff from other areas for the overall benefit of PCSLD and Enbridge.
  • Manage and resolve client issues for defined business area.


  • Play a key role in the maintenance of PI and SCADA production and development application environments by providing technical support, troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, application testing and configuration changes
  • Work closely with Control Center Coordinators in the planning, organizing and delivering of support service to the Control Center
  • Work closely with the Loss Management, Power and Margin, Infrastructure Optimization, Control System teams (among others) in servicing their PI requests.
  • Work closely with the SCADA Operations and Integration teams to ensure all PI tags are successfully created and conform with the PI Tag Standard Naming convention
  • Oversee the successful transition of applications and new instances of PROCYS, OASyS, Cygnet into SCADA Support
  • Assist in SCADA system commissioning effort
  • Provide support to both PI and SCADA projects in the role of Support Liaison
  • Be part of the SCADA Support Service Desk rotation in the Control Center
  • Be part of the team that works on Problem Reports requested from CCO
  • Be part of the 24×7 support team on call rotation
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of SCADA best practices, standards, and operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure application support and service requests are met
  • Prepare and maintain documentation as per Enbridge standards
  • Demonstrate commitment to the team and its success
  • Participate in the Enbridge Health and Safety program


  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 year(s) of work experience.
  • Working knowledge of UNIX, C, C++, Java, and Perl programming language.
  • Working knowledge of process control systems and PROCYS.
  • Working knowledge of OSISoft’s PI Data Historian.
  • Ability to lead, develop and monitor activities of junior staff.
  • Strong analytical, communications and problems solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
