Reporting to the Director, Curriculum & Resource Support, the successful candidate for this full-time position will be responsible for project management and coordination of events that support District initiatives.

• you bring a wide range of expertise to this role including exceptional planning, time management, design, and analytical skills
• you are comfortable working in a fast paced environment and are able to manage multiple demands that require your time and attention
• you are creative and enjoy preparing marketing materials and designing team functions
• you have strong technical and financial management skills
• you are detail oriented and able to multi-task

ABOUT YOUR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• a diploma in project management or a related discipline
• a minimum of three year’s related experience
• experience managing large projects or event planning
• advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Google apps, web developing and publishing software
• strong organizational and time management skills

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Project Coordinator you will:
• Plan, or assist with, development and coordination of various special events, professional learning workshops, and partnership activities
• Coordinate meetings for committee groups and prepare materials including marketing materials, handouts, and other resources
• Design and implement administrative systems, workflow processes, and budget records
• Develop and maintain websites and content, and utilize web-based communication tools including social media applications
