THE COMPANY

THE ROLE

Reporting to the F&B Shift Manager, the Cocktail Server is responsible for providing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage service to guests dining at Vue Bar, playing on the floor and in the Poker Room. This position must maintain fast and timely service to our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and are left with a positive lasting impression. A very high level of customer service aptitude is essential for this position.

JOB SUMMARY

  • Knowledge of all promotions and events for the week/month
  • Maintain a positive and fun work environment
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work area and environment
  • Operate in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Provide cocktail service to our guests by circulating between the Vue bar, Poker Room and on the gaming floor
  • Provide proactive customer service and maintain a friendly and professional demeanour at all times
  • Responsible for providing professional and superior customer service in accordance with established company standards
  • Perform other job-related duties, as directed by management

THE INDIVIDUAL

  • Food Safe Certificate
  • Serving it Right Certificate
  • Ability to get along well with others with demonstrated effort in a team environment
  • Able to lift a minimum of 25 LBS
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Committed to promoting a safe work environment
  • Demonstrated excellent Customer service/relations
  • Proven superior customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate operational needs of a casino environment
  • Friendly, outgoing and professional demeanour
  • Respectful approach and demeanour
  • Strong conflict resolution, initiative and decision-making skills
