Field Technician – Multi Unit Residential Building

Ecofitt Corporation (Ecofitt) is a Canadian company with our Western headquarters in Calgary, Alberta; regional offices in Mississauga, Ontario; Vancouver, British Columbia; Winnipeg, Manitoba and Longueil, Quebec. With a sole focus on energy and water conservation, we specialize in both product distribution and direct install program implementation services throughout Canada.

Ecofitt owns approximately 30,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space across Canada, including the newly acquired Western Canada Headquarters in Southeast Calgary. This 10,000-sq. ft. facility will provide oversight for existing operations in British Columbia and Manitoba and will serve as the central distribution hub for all product distribution in Western Canada and the United States.

We are currently seeking outgoing, energetic and dynamic individuals to join our team as

Field Technician for the Residential Energy Savings Program.

Employees will work independently within Calgary Region. Full paid training will be provided at date of hire.

Job Type: Full Time Contract to end March 31, 2018.

Hours: Full time work schedule. 7 Days a week. Monday to Sunday. 5 Days on, 2 days off.


  • Visit residential homes install energy efficient products
  • Actively engage in creating a safe work environment for yourself and co-workers
  • Data and Inventory Management
  • Commit to fulfilling fluctuating work demands
  • Occasional long distance travel
  • Provide education on energy efficiency
  • Educating resident about services available from Energy Efficiency Alberta
  • Participating in promotional events

Qualifications/Job Requirements:

  • Access to a reliable vehicle to use for the duration of the program
  • Criminal background check
  • Drivers abstract
  • Drivers experience (insurance company)
  • Physically fit and able to remain active for the duration of all shifts
  • Have a friendly and professional manner and appearance; comfortable with entering residential homes
  • Be comfortable with the installation of various products such as LED light bulbs and energy efficient water measures (full training provided)
  • Sales and customer service experience is a plus
  • Possess a background in environmental field, or have a strong interest in energy conservation
  • Outgoing and positive personality
  • Detail-oriented, punctual, conscientious, reliable and able to work independently
  • Access to a computer with the Internet and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and email to complete daily communication
  • Ability to use a provided android phone
  • Second language preferred i.e. Cantonese, Mandarin, French, Spanish, Punjabi, Hindi, German, etc.
