Eagle is currently seeking a Project Control Officer for a six (6) month contract opportunity scheduled to begin immediately.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Lead and complete work packages and/or smaller initiatives and provide administrative support to the Program including documentation, tracking, reporting, maintaining initiative processes, and follow-up with relevant stakeholders as required;
Support status report generation and keep other team members informed and up-to-date about the status/progress of initiatives, and all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activities;
Following the PMLC/SDLC methodology and ensuring that the project documentation and approvals are maintained;
Assist the Program and Project Manager of the initiative from start to end, including schedule and organize meetings, preparation and coordination by booking the facility, distributing agenda and required materials, arranging required equipment, Program Financials, etc., as required;
Complete responsibilities on a timely basis, while prioritizing and managing workload to ensure high quality accurate results;
Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalates issues where appropriate.
Skills and Qualifications
The qualified candidate must have:
Five plus (5+) years previous Banking and Financial institutional experience;
Six plus (6+) years on large visible projects both business and IT;
Seasoned PCO experience to prepare documents for recurring meetings including minutes and issue log;
Project management life cycle experience (PMLC);
Knowledge of MS Project and SharePoint to create and maintain project plans;
Excellent skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint to create and maintain documents;
Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with attention to detail;
Knowledge and experience in maintaining a central repository of project plans, reports, competencies etc.; and,
Previous experience with Project Budgeting ,Reporting and Scheduling
