Eagle is currently seeking a Application Developer – Software Developer for a six (6) month contract opportunity, scheduled to begin in October.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, assessing, and recommending technology solutions to high level business problems and opportunities within the scope of service;
  • Working with external stakeholders, designing system interfaces and maintaining interface and architecture documentation;
  • Developing and customizing fields, layouts, objects, security, reports, and dashboards;
  • Creating and maintaining profiles, roles, and security;
  • Creating and documenting Salesforce processes and procedures;
  • Integrating complimentary applications and helping to design and manage ongoing development of Salesforce.com to meet the organization’s mission;
  • Interfacing with business users and technical staff and delivering complete work products;
  • Analyzing business needs and designing, configuring and delivering solutions;
  • Performing Salesforce.com configuration, including definition and implementation of Org-wide defaults, Roles, User Profiles, Record Ownership rules, Sharing Rules, etc.;
  • Performing bulk data loads;
  • Helping in configuring and piloting GitHub cloud code management tool and code management processes;
  • Identifying custom development opportunities for full-time expert Salesforce.com Apex and VisualForce programmers; and,
  • Integrating Salesforce across various platforms and devices.

Skills and Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of development experience in Salesforce;
  • Experience working on end-to-end Salesforce projects;
  • Experience with an ETL tools;
  • Strong coding skills on Visualforce, apex, webservices, Javascripting;
  • Worked on at least two service cloud projects on agile framework;
  • Experience on knowledge management, communities, Chatter and salesforce1;
  • Experience in GitHub or other deployment tools and versioning management;
  • Strong understanding of SFDC programming environments (Apex, VisualForce, etc.);
  • Experience with Salesforce.com development in a multi-tiered release environment, including hands-on configuration and release management experience;
  • Working general programming knowledge (SQL, scripting, etc.);
  • Strong knowledge of the architecture of Salesforce.com objects and entities like Page Layouts, Standard and Custom Objects, Apex and VisualForce code, etc., and be able to apply that knowledge to ensure deliverables from multiple development work threads while following robust release management disciplines and procedures;
  • Understanding of databases and data integration tools;
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills;
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a geographically distributed team;
  • Confidence as well as being a self-starter who can completely “own” the delivery of high value work products;
  • The ability to work well with users at all levels, including C-Level executives; and,
  • Formal certifications like Salesforce.com Certified, Administrator Salesforce.com Certified Advanced.
