Eagle is currently seeking a Budgeting, Forecasting, Analysis and Reporting Manager for a fourteen (14) month contract position, scheduled to begin immediately.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Planning, preparing and overseeing of annual OPEX budgets primarily for Consumer IT and providing budgetary planning support for other towers such as (but not limited to);

Planning, preparing and oversight of monthly and quarterly department Forecast including Headcount, 3rd party costs, capitalization.

Preparing monthly Reclass and Accrual Journal Entries and work closely with IT Finance for Monthend activities and reconciliations;

Updating Org charts on a monthly basis based on Headcount reconciliations;

Executive-level ad-hoc and Monthly Financial Presentation – including Financial Results, Resource Capitalization trend, Forecasts, Headcount/Hiring status, Risks, Opportunities, and upcoming activities to VPs and Directors. Attend and present at the weekly/Monthly Consumer SVP & Directors Meeting;

Keeping visibility of upcoming initiatives and trends to maintain high level understanding of their OPEX impacts, tracking of CA OPEX drag and reflecting on OPEX forecasts;

Monthly Consumer OPEX Forecast reviews with SVP, IT Finance, and CIO. Communication of key challenges/trends;

Meeting directors and managers regularly to understand key challenges and trends;

Supporting the Consumer IT SVP and Directors with ad-hoc budgetary analysis and reports;

Supporting the IT Planning Director in providing data, analysis, reporting to be used for IT-wide (CIO level) presentations, whether planned or ad-hoc. Support the IT Planning Director, on an as required basis, in the consolidation of such IT-wide material;

Working closely with other IT Planning primes in identifying IT wide budgeting and forecasting challenge and in establishing more effective and efficient ways in our financial planning activities;

Contributing to IT wide improvements pertaining to financial processes, templates, performance measurements etc.;

Establishing Resource Allocation Analytics;

Supporting the tower with its month end OPEX activities such as – Ensuring expenses are received against PO’s for certain spend items and preparing Journal Entries and Accruals are submitting to Finance for processing;

Tracking of monthly Financial Results and Forecast Variance analysis and resolving any questions or concerns directors may have related to their OPEX result and address within the next monthly forecast cycle;

Proactively identifying Issues, Risks, and Opportunities for Cost Efficiencies;

Working closely with Directors in identifying and discussing OPEX optimization and savings strategies and timelines and forecasting savings and tracking proactively to ensure savings targets are met and,

Supporting the tower in the area of Capital financials planning and analytics/reporting.

Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate must have:
Undergraduate degree with financial accreditation (CMA/CGA/CA/CPA);

8-10 years of relevant, progressive experience in senior financial analytics role;

High degree of analytical and data analysis capabilities;

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills;

Attention to detail with very good research and listening skills;

The ability to manage own work flow and meet deadlines while responding to frequent demands of multiple customers;

Strong written and verbal communication skills (Presents to CIO, works with a variety of SVPs, VPs, Directors, Sr Managers and their teams);

High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint;

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams;

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet multiple deadlines per each monthly cycle and,

Self-motivation and capability to deliver under pressure.
