Our government client is currently seeking a qualified candidate for a Business Analyst position:

Typical duties may include, but are not limited to:
Plan and conduct business analysis activities as part of overall project plans. This includes but is not limited to timely communication of issues and risks following the planned business analysis activities
· Work with client stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements and ensure they are thoroughly documented as per standards and artifact templates. Artifacts need to be produced in a high quality, consistent and timely manner and include the level of detail appropriate to the complexity of the business
· Analyze, define models and documents client requirements and recommends solutions; conducts impact analysis studies under supervision; and participates in quality assurance activities
· Act as a liaison between clients, technical and testing teams to ensure that the requirements are understood as per specification
· Participate in project teams and occasionally leads short-term teams or components of a large project. Prepares work plans, and coach’s new staff as required
· Review and models end-to-end client business processes and environments, operations and practices in context with proposed changes or opportunities. Makes recommendations related to the re-engineering of business architecture, current processes or practices in order to assist clients in meeting business objectives
· Assist clients to validate and prioritize requirements; conducts initial assessment of the readiness and scope of the work; prepares documentation outlining the business requirements in a clear and concise manner to ensure mutual understanding and obtains client endorsement
· Ensure traceability from business requirements to user acceptance testing to validate the IT solution; may provide advice, plan or conduct user acceptance testing activities; solution assessment and validation to determine business/financial value and ROI
· Develop and execute HQ and Regional change management plans, including training, communications, process reviews or updates
· Create documents, project plans and presentations, including business analysis work plan
· Work with COTS vendors to assess proposed solutions and identify the one that best meets the business need, identify gaps in the solutions, and determine configurations/changes that will be required to the out of the box solution
· Meet with the client representative ( s) and project team to review user requirements and discuss potential solutions
Mandatory Qualifications

University ( PhD, Graduate, Undergraduate, degree)
· College or CEGEP Diploma / Certificate
· Relevant Professional Certification
A minimum of 10 years of experience with business analyses of business requirements to identify information, procedures, and options as described in the statement of work
· Must provide 3 reference projects which involved implementation of enterprise-wide information management applications ( either software development projects or commercial software implementation projects)
