Our client, Alberta Infrastructure, has an immediate requirement for an Intermediate Technical/Business Analyst in their Edmonton location. The successful sub-contractor will start in April for a 12 month contract. Contract extensions are available. We will pay the successful candidate a salary or $90,000 per year as a project based employee or up to $60 per hour for an independent sub-contractor. These include Infrastructure (Building) Management, Service Delivery Management and Application Management Services. In managing these services, various projects are initiated to achieve the goals and objectives of the branch, and are delivered within the Transformation Portfolio Roadmap. The Ministry’s primary objective is to manage the infrastructure (Buildings) of the government over the entire lifecycle of each of the infrastructure (Buildings) assets. In doing this, the Ministry provides a variety of services, to a number of stakeholders. As all of the services are focused around the primary objective, there is an expected amount of integration, collaboration, and handoff between each of the distinct business divisions at Alberta Infrastructure. Currently the Ministry requires an Intermediate Business Analyst to support its Transformation Road initiative which includes the core capabilities related to Asset (Building) Lifecycle Management; Application Rationalization; and Project Portfolio Management. The Intermediate Business Analyst is required to work with the team members of the Transformation Roadmap Office and related business stakeholders to complete business analysis activities within various projects to ensure that business goals and outcomes for Transformation Roadmap initiative are realized.
