The role will be responsible for soliciting sales into and managing accounts within the territory for the Brand. Responsible for the long term development of the accounts, profitable growth for the brand as well as building strong relationships with account executives and buyers. This role will deliver the agreed targets through maximizing productivity of existing accounts and pursuing new account opportunities in line with brand distribution strategies.

Extensive travel and occasional overnight stays are expected throughout and across the regional territory.


Builds strong relationships with Senior Business Partners (across buying, sales, merchandising, logistics & marketing) of multiple door accounts to successfully manage designated account partners.

Achieves and exceeds sales and profitability targets for all the accounts.

Maximize, maintain and defend the profitability targets of the brand across all accounts

Plans and facilitates new seasons range sell-in to existing and potential business.

Attends regular sales meetings, prepares sales reports, sell through information and other necessary information on the accounts plus other information as requested by the business, supporting the Sales Manager where requested in formatting and delivering the sales meetings.

Visits and builds relationships with buying teams and store staff in accounts doors.


Plans, budget each account vs. LY & target goal for the current sales period.

Strategically plans and arranges all customer appointments.

In line with each customer’s budget, successfully carries out solicitation of sales. Directs accounts to Customer Service to secure orders from existing and potential accounts by means of visiting accounts.

Follows up on account to coordinate management of order process end to end: sell in and sell through.

Acts as a liaison to ensure all orders and administration is submitted within deadlines.

Strategically plans then carry out the sales strategy; by in person or remotely via technology.

Provides monthly sales forecast updates to managers as required.

Performs such other activities as may be assigned by Sales Manager and with oversight from Sales Manager.

Account Management

Builds strong professional relationships with all buyers or owners for each account.

Strategically contacts and manages customers daily, weekly or bi-monthly.

Plans the strategic and profitable use of marketing tools.

Visits all accounts and doors on a regular basis set by supervisor.

Proposes new accounts or opportunities to Sales Manager.

Acts as the first point of call for accounts within Deckers Brands.

Maintains regular daily or weekly contact with Regional Manager or National Manager regarding sales updates, sell through reporting, issues and opportunities.

Performs such other activities as may be assigned by Sales Manager and with oversight from Sales Manager.


Maintains profitability by coordinating between the corporate headquarters and customers to minimize returns and credits and other costs to the business.

Uses marketing astutely and with due consideration to return on investment.

Acts as a liaison between corporate headquarters and customers to insure payments are prompt and to the benefit of the Brand.

Manages expenses against budget.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level of experience

Previous wholesale experience within a regionally based role

Proficient in Microsoft applications. Ability to budget and forecast, using Excel

Ability to effectively prepare and present information and respond to questions from management, clients and other employees of the organization.

Ability to use independent judgment in performing all duties of the position

Previous experience with multi-functional organizations

Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively address all levels of the organization

Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
