Our newly amalgamated division, Supply Chain and Trade Network Solutions (SCTNS) provides innovation and specialized third party freight management services to meet all of our customers’ diversified requirements – from LCV, warehousing, dedicated fleets, flatbed moves, to tailored ocean and air freight solutions. We are recruiting business savvy and knowledgeable financial professional to join the SCTNS team.

Reporting to the President of SCTNS, the Director, Finance & Administration will play a key role in the financial leadership of the division and also work closely with the VP Finance & CFO for the Day & Ross Transportation Group to ensure compliance with corporate policies on capital investments, financial policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for supporting the business through the development of the Annual Operating Plan, on-going analysis and regular reporting, as well as ensuring the Division’s optimization of IT systems to support the business. You will be valued for your objective business knowledge, financial advice and recommendations.

We are seeking a strong leader with a CPA designation and a minimum of ten years’ progressive experience, with at least three years responsibility for compliance and financial reporting, preferable in the logistics industry. You must able to provide guidance and advice and drive engagement without direct authority. Your analytical and communication skills allow you to analysis and provide advice on financial areas that directly impact business results. You are a problem solver with the ability to make solid recommendations and decisions.
