David Aplin Group, one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Senior Administrative Assistant based in Edmonton.
Are you looking for a position at a growing company with a fantastic work environment?
Our client, a locally owned and operated manufacturing company, is currently seeking a detail-oriented Scheduler / Administrative Assistant to join their team on a temporary 2 month contract. As the Scheduler / Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the daily operation of the organization. If you’re looking to showcase your strong time management and organizational skills, this may be the role for you!
Scheduling meetings and appointment’s for the Director
Making and coordinating travel arrangements ensuring
Screen guests and incoming phone calls and emails for the director
Attending executive meetings, take minuets and produce reports on information documented
Receiving and sending mail, couriers and faxes on a daily basis
Photocopying and filing important documents
Writing business letters and creating templates
Performing and updating data entry
Providing administrative support to team
Delegate work to other administrators in the firm
Report information to building manager when need
The Ideal Candidate:
3+ years of experience at a senior administrative level
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word including how to use micros, macros and mail merges
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel including how to use tables, formulas and What-If Analysis
Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to manage schedules
A results-oriented personality
