David Aplin Group, one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies has partnered with our client, a recognized and trusted provider of high quality temporary residences for professionals and families all across Canada. They are currently seeking a Guest Experience Manager to join their team in Calgary, Alberta.
The Guest Experience Manager will interact with all levels of personnel and management throughout the region including suppliers. It will report to the Director of Operations and will have direct reports from the housekeeping, maintenance, guest services, and administration team within the branch. There will be a level of responsibility to manage and make sure that each guest experience has a smooth and seamless transition with their executive suite.

The Role:
Received maintenance requests and prioritizes jobs from housekeeping, guests, and sales departments
Acts as the primary resource for guests, landlords and sales team
Manages multiple tasks to provide excellent and seamless guest experiences
Works closely with landlords and admin staff to perform tasks on time and on budget
Processes invoices, receipts and POs before months end
Assists Director of Operations in maintaining and executive experience for all suites in the Calgary region
30 – 50% travel time within Calgary (to various suites)
Some maintenance activities will be delivered on a daily basis

The Ideal Candidate:
B.Mgmt (Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management) preferred but not an asset
5+ years’ experience working in a small to medium sized business
Hospitality experience a huge asset
Strong leadership and proven management skills
Understands the technical aspects of building maintenance, housekeeping and communication with all departments
Strong maintenance/handyman experience as activities will be performed daily
Can manage a variety of issues and prioritize those in an organized and efficient manner
Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
Valid driver’s license and vehicle
