David Aplin Group, one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Copy Centre Technician based in Winnipeg on a temporary basis. This role has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:
Complete all black and white and color copy requests, including preparation and run
Inspect all jobs for quality to prevent or eliminate defects or mistakes
Maintain high quality standards and ensure that all work meets or surpasses expectations
Ensure that all projects leaving the copy room are properly packaged and labeled and that all originals are in proper order
Inform Production Manager and/or supervisor of copy quality problems and other production problems for all jobs
Comply with company policy that any information seen during the copy process is strictly confidential and is never to leave the copy center
Handle basic maintenance of equipment and ensure regular maintenance of all copy equipment

The Ideal Candidate:
1-2 years experience in a copy center environment or service industry
Able to proficiently use basic copy equipment
Flexibility in handling multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organizational skills
Team oriented with the ability to work independently as well
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Able to produce high volume output with little waste
Must be detail oriented and focused
