Digital Marketing & Social Media Intern Required to Promote Music tours

Caribbean and Los Angeles based Sports and Media/Entertainment Company is seeking Digital Marketing/Social Media Intern for it’s Edmonton office. The selected candidate will collaborate with our Director of Analytics and content team to create Marketing content for our Specialty Music Cruises and Concert Tours. They will be encouraged to put forth creative strategies for online growth and expansion. Intern will actively be involved in our Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube efforts.

Our ideal candidate is creative, hard working and isn’t afraid to think outside the box and driven by Social Media Marketing analytics.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic individual who’s looking to have a long-term career in social media management and the online space.

This is a 3 month (with possibility for extension) unpaid internship with flexible hours.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Aid in the creation of our social media content with assistance from video director.

• Requirements:
• Currently enrolled, attending or recently graduated from college/university in the field of Communications, PR, Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design or other related field
• Must have a working knowledge of On Line Marketing Analytics
• Experience in social media marketing beyond personal use
• Marketing/communications related post-secondary qualification
• Good sense of current digital marketing trends
• Experience in online content creation and blogging
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
