Job Title: Customer Service Manager

Job Overview:
The Customer Service Manager is responsible for the service side of the business (shop and field). This position is accountable for ensuring best in class results in safety, labour productivity, quality of workmanship, SWIP (Standard Work-In-Process) management, performance management, and customer service commitment.

This individual will have prior operations, supervisory, and management experience within the trades industry. Proven leadership skills to promote positive employee contributions and the ability to encourage teamwork in an exciting and dynamic environment will be prerequisites to a successful candidacy.

  • Previous dealership experience is considered an asset
  • Experience working in an unionized setting is considered an asset

The Customer Service Manager will be effective in motivating the operational staff, guiding and supporting employees in different functions to ensure customer satisfaction and the customer service commitment. This role will also work closely with our customers to understand their needs and look at ways improve our service. Specific functions include but are not limited to:

  • Providing leadership in driving our safety incidents to zero
  • Managing a diverse team of trades, service, and administrative staff to reach best-in-class performance in safety, productivity, quality of workmanship, SWIP management, and customer service satisfaction (customer service commitment)
  • Evaluating employee performance through a performance review process and identifying training opportunities for staff to aid in the development of people and succession planning
  • Creating and aligning business plans with local strategies and personal objectives
  • Plan budgets and authorize expenditures
  • Plan and evaluate daily operation


  • A recent driver’s abstract will be required
  • Salary will commensurate with education, experience, skills and knowledge
  • All successful external candidates shall be subject to a criminal records check
