CS Canada specializes in project management for development of critical embedded systems. With over 160 engineers, CS Canada puts its expertise to serve major clients mainly in the aeronautical field.

Today, CS Canada is looking for a System Test Engineer . Successful applicants will participate in the achievement of development, verification, validation and systems integration and avionics software to meet the requirements of DO-178B Level A and the engine certification activities.

Under the responsibility of the IPT lead, the system test engineer will join an engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT) and your tasks (but not limited to) will be to:

  • Analyze the engine control results ;
  • Review test plans and develop test cases for software validation engine implementation;
  • Perform tests on a test bench simulating motor behavior ;
  • Set the required test benches and support the environment development test team in solving failing test platforms ;
  • Report and monitor errors with the client and propose solutions;
  • Preparation of technical documentation ;
  • Coordinate activities with team members and provide progress status daily

Requirements:

  • S., Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering;
  • System knowledge in Turbomachinery & aircraft engines;
  • 3 to 5 years in similar environments;
  • Software Knowledge: Labview, SCADE, Matlab / Simulink, Microsoft Office, DOORS, SVN;
  • Basics in protocols CANbus, ARINC 429
  • Knowledge of test tools RTRT and/or LDRA
  • Knowledge of the V cycle
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills, team-player;
  • Curiosity, autonomy, pro-activity and ability to find solutions and compromises.
