Monday To Friday Schedule

Our pharmacy is located in Oshawa, ON and specializes in providing the best experience for our customers by providing expert prescription services. We are a global company that is looking to build our Canadian brand with top notch Canadian pharmacy professionals.

You are an expert on Healthwatch with over one year pharmacy assistant experience. You are someone who wants to start a real career with our company and are motivated to obtain more responsibility as you learn our business model, policies, and procedures. You are teachable and listen to instruction with a willingness to consistently learn.

The hours are full time on a flexible schedule. We are only interested in interviewing serious pharmacy assistant professionals with over 1 years experience in a retail pharmacy setting. Please apply with a cover letter outlining your goals and accomplishments as a pharmacy assistant in Canada!

Schedule
Monday to Friday 11-7pm

Role & Responsibilities

• Perform best possible medication history with patients to facilitate medication reconciliation.
• Directing patient queries to areas accordingly.
• Issuing and delivering narcotics/controlled drugs to the patient care areas.
• Maintaining the department’s drug inventory control system and maintaining appropriate records in keeping with pharmacy regulations and established procedures.
• Assist Pharmacists as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Completion of a recognized Pharmacy Technician program or an equivalent combination of education and experience..
• Previous related experience in a health care environment.
• Experience with completing medication histories, preferred.
• Familiarity with pharmacy automation is considered an asset.
• Must be able to take direction from Pharmacists.
• Proven attendance record.
• Demonstrates understanding and complies with patient and staff safety policies and procedures that foster a safe and inclusive environment for all.
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.
• Effectively uses empathy in interactions with others.
• Commitment to providing an exceptional experience for staff and clients within a challenging and exciting health care environment.

Salary: $13.50 /year
