The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Healthcare Administrative Assistant to join our team with the aim of assisting with a number of medical related support tasks for a diverse client base, including patients, patient program coordinators, and healthcare professionals.


Responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering calls from patients, patient program coordinators, healthcare professionals, etc;
  • Providing coordination and support services via phone or email with various internal and external stakeholders;
  • Obtaining, verifying, and updating information within computerized system;
  • Managing email for program/territory/as assigned;
  • Typing and proofreading correspondence, forms, and other documents using computer software.


  • Education in a related field (administrative, healthcare);
  • Above average communication skills (verbal, written, reading) in English. French is an asset;
  • Proven ability to build mutually rewarding relationships among peers and clients;
  • Experience with computer applications such as Windows, email, MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and an Internet browser.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on team success;
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions;
  • Highly organized with a knack for planning;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • A willingness to remain flexible and work with the team to accomplish shared goals;
  • Previous healthcare experience is an asset, however is not required.

Additional Information:

Wage: Based on experience, starting at $16.00 per hour

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, Extended Health, Vision

Term: Full Time, Permanent

Hour of Operation: 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday to Friday

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours weekly, primarily day shift with some evenings required

Start Date: ASAP
