Under the direction of the Foreman of Water Operations, undertakes the field locating, marking and recording of underground water and wastewater infrastructure throughout Oxford County.
Secondary school diploma or equivalent. Certification as a Damage Protection Technician by the ORCGA is considered an asset; demonstrated knowledge of water distribution and wastewater collection design and operations; previous experience working with underground infrastructure and locating equipment such as water, sewage, drainage, electrical or communications is considered an asset; excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; training and knowledge of safety equipment and practices, including WHMIS, confined space entry, health and safety, and traffic control (Book 7); knowledge of GIS and other computer software programs; a valid Ontario Driver’s license.
