680 CJOB has an exciting opportunity for a full time Board Operator in our Winnipeg location. Reporting to the Brand Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the technical operations as well as the content producing side of the radio station.


  • Smooth, professional board operation that meets the standards of a major market – as assigned
  • Handle call-screening shifts – as assigned
  • Content produce shows – as assigned
  • Record, edit and archive shows as required
  • Updating pages on cjob.com and the station’s social media accounts
  • Other duties as assigned


  • A passion for the news/talk format
  • A positive, friendly manner and customer service approach that will enable the successful candidate to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity
  • Being able to multitask, communicate with staff and handle high pressure situations
  • Knowledge of Media Touch and Burli an asset
  • Audio editing skills an asset
  • A Diploma in Radio Broadcasting and/or one year industry experience
  • A valid “G” driver’s license
