Please note that this is a six (6) month term position with the possibility of extension.

Full time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. Some overtime, although infrequent, may be required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As Accounts Payable Clerk you will be accountable for ensuring accurate and timely payment to vendors and assisting in the daily tasks of the Accounting department.

Responsibilities Included but not limited to:

  • Review of all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
  • Processing of 3 way P.O. matching invoices
  • Responding to all vendor inquiries
  • Reconciling vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
  • Processing changes of expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries
  • Verifying and processing employee expense reports
  • Assisting in month end closing (prepaid schedules, accrual, rebates, etc.)
  • Assisting with other tasks and projects as required.

Job Requirements To be successful in this position, the preferred candidate must bring strong detail oriented and multi-tasking skills while maintaining the ability to complete daily required tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum three (3) years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable practices and principles
  • Secondary education in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Mastery skill level in Excel and proficiency in Outlook and other Microsoft applications
  • Recent working experience with SAP required
